David usually plays in a dropped-D tuning. This is a list of alternate tunings David uses as well as the familiar dropped-D. Each page lists songs played live in that particular tuning.

There are some exceptions however - David started to play "Comfort" with a capo on the WHEREVER tour, and also played "Hold On" with a capo on at least one occasion - so no list could be completely accurate.
