Celebrating our birthday here at Mine & Yours looks a little different this year. A time where we would normally throw an in-store soiree and invite all of our incredible customers, suppliers, friends and family in to celebrate just isn't an option this year due to COVID changing plans! We are dedicating this birthday to our community this year by giving away a $700 gift card on our Instagram page and sharing your favourite Mine & Yours memories. We'll start the virtual celebrations with a letter from our owner, Courtney Watkins.
To you,
I want to sincerely thank everyone for all of the love and support over the past 7 years. Reaching this milestone would not be possible without every single one of you. Our birthday this year has me reflecting a little more than usual with everything we've had to navigate through together. Every time you've liked our post, every time you've shopped online or in-store, every time you've told a friend about us, has helped more than you know! Our community will always inspire us to keep moving forward. I can't wait to show you what the future holds for Mine & Yours. Happy Birthday to us, but today we celebrate you!
Love,
Courtney

I have several stories, but a couple gems would be that I got my very first pair of Louboutin’s at Mine & Yours. They were a staple piece I wore a lot when I worked at my law firm. -- A more recent story is how amazing the team has been over the past year helping me shop goodies from Halifax while I’m going to school. Megan knows my taste and always sends me photos of new good pieces when I feel like some retail therapy, and I’ve saved her notes that come in my boxes!
LAURIE BROWNRIGG
There’s so many memories with Mine & Yours. I’ve been able to curate a fabulous collection of unique lux pieces off the mainstream circuit for a fraction of the price and far more sustainable. But I guess my favourite memory if I had to choose is winning the Mother’s Day give away and I bought my mom her first Gucci bag.
CHRISTINA LOFRANCO
I first stumbled upon Mine & Yours when I had just freshly moved to Vancouver and was roaming aimlessly downtown exploring my new city. Not to be dramatic or anything, but it was love at first sight. I couldn’t believe the endless selection of Designer items and how they were in such excellent pre-loved condition. Since that time, I’ve traded in so many of my own trendy designer items and have been able to use store credit to buy classic pieces that will last me a lifetime.
My favourite purchase to date has to be my latest - a Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Monceau 28 Bag. I was in the shop trading in some items and then I saw him. He was vintage, chic & timeless and I know in that moment that I had to have him. Luckily my trade in value almost covered the entire price so I felt like it was basically free (lol!) This is definitely a bag that will never go out of style and I can cherish in my closet for years to come.
KARISSA PUKAS
My first purchase was the black YSL medium collage bag - I was overjoyed to find out you could trade pieces in to build credit. Since then M&Y has been my go to for when I’m looking for a piece. I’ve checked off most of my designer wishlist over the past few years by being patient and continuing to bring in pieces that could use a new home. I love supporting a local, female owned/run business; especially one that supports sustainability in fashion.
Thank you again to our incredible community for the love and support, especially during this past year. Everyday you inspired us to keep pushing forward and for that we will always be eternally grateful!
]]>At Mine & Yours, we strive to live as green as we can. Not only do we encourage ourselves and others to shop locally and sustainably, but we also promote discarding things in a more environmentally-friendly way to avoid contributing to the 1,642 pounds! To help you, we have compiled a list of our favourite organizations in Vancouver and beyond who love to help their community donate or recycle pre-loved items!
We are so thrilled about our partnership with Still Fabulous Thrift as they continue to raise funds for patient support services, equipment and programs at BC Children’s Hospital and BC Women’s Hospital. Every season, we donate some of our items to their store because we love what they’re doing. And you can too! Bring your high quality, designer clothing to Still Fabulous where it will be resold to raise funds to benefit the BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospital patients. They provide a place for the community to shop and share - something we’re passionate about as well!
The Zero Waste Centre provides a location for local residents to drop off a wide variety of materials for reuse and recycling, free of charge. Unique from other recycling depots, the Zero Waste Centre accepts materials that require special handling, such as batteries and propane tanks. They also accept larger quantities of items that curbside bins cannot hold.*
Wildlife Thrift is a Vancouver hotspot for all of your thrifted needs and drop-offs! They accept all clothes, furniture, books and houseware in good condition.* They believe in one simple concept: recycle, recycle, recycle! Not only does it help protect our environment, but it gives us all the opportunity to pay it forward in our beautiful community, and by extension, the world!
Every year Value Village has helped keep 700 million pounds of material out of landfills, while helping the marketplaces in developing countries around the globe. They accept pretty much anything in your house, except beds, automotive parts, damaged products and large appliances.*
Do you have bigger items in your house you would like picked up with no hassle? 1800 Got Junk has a very easy online process to schedule pick-ups. Once they haul your stuff away, it is either recycled, donated or disposed of responsibly. They accept old furniture, appliances, electronics, tires, debris and yard waste.*
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore carries gently-used home decor and outdoor supplies that have been donated from your home and garden. All money spent at the ReStore funds 100% of Habitat’s operations and goes towards building houses for families. They take paint, cabinets, flooring, heating and cooling, outdoor furniture, lighting, plumbing, roofing and a lot more!*
FABCYCLE diverts leftover fabric from becoming textile waste by reselling it. If you have pre-cut fabric, fabric rolls, or sewing supplies taking up space in your home, FABCYCLE will accept your donation! They provide a space where the community can circulate these materials and items back into use.
Clothing Companies That Will Take Donations
There are many clothing companies in the US and Canada that offer incentive programs for you to donate your old clothes. Levi’s and Madewell have partnered with Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green program who takes your donated denims and recycles them as insulation material in libraries, hospitals and schools. Levi’s offers shoppers 20% off any Levi’s item for donated denim. Madewell offers their shoppers $20 off a new pair of jeans. H&M Group also encourages clothing donations of any kind - old or new - for recycling in return for discounts in store.
Post on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.
Not local to Vancouver? No problem! You can easily research local organizations around you that will accept donations or recycle your items responsibly. You can also post your items for free online! Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are great sites to use to advertise your items.
If you are still not sure where you can recycle a specific item, The City of Vancouver provides a search tool called Waste Wizard that you can use to find drop-off locations for particular items.
There are many great organizations who are dedicated to serving their communities by offering donation and recycling programs. With their help, we can limit our waste and give our pre-loved items new life by keeping them away from landfills!
*You can visit their website for a complete list of accepted donation items!
]]>The 37 piece collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri was inspired by Surrealist artists such as; Dora Maar, Lee Miller and Jacqueline Lamba. Dior introduced their first online presentation by releasing a short film directed by Matteo Garrone.
In addition to launching the short film, Dior also miniaturized each piece on small mannequins carefully arranged in a trunk, fashioned to emulate Dior's Montaigne Headquarters. The poetic sillhouettes, detailed drapings and exquisite fabrics all scaled down without compromising the initial designs. An innovative way for the collection to travel the world, instead of the world travelling to see them in Couture Week.
To celebrate the artistic masterpiece dreamed up by Chiuri, we will share our favourite designs from Dior's latest Haute Couture collection.

While Canada is known for many amazing things, like it's lush scenery, fashion brands are not necessarily something we're always associated with. To celebrate Canada Day in style we are featuring some high-end Canadian brands that we carry at our luxury resale and consignment boutique in Vancouver! Babaton, Judith & Charles, Club Monaco, Wilfred and Mackage are some of the brands improving how the world views Canadians in the fashion industry. You can see these brands designs worn by celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Meghan Markle. Shop these pre-loved pieces today from our boutique in Downtown Vancouver or on our online shop!
One of Aritzia’s most-loved brands, each piece finds beauty in simplistic designs paired with elevated fabrics. Babaton has the perfect collections for the minimalist and modern woman.
SHOP OUR JUDITH & CHARLES COLLECTION
This Montreal Duo’s designs capture the essence of feminine beauty with the impeccable tailoring of structured menswear. Their attention to detail can be seen in their pieces fusing together femininity and masculinity.
Club Monaco was founded in Toronto in 1985 and has since been acquired by Ralph Lauren in 1999. The brand originally started with the idea of creating “better basics.” The Club Monaco sweater photographed above is the perfect example of this, a basic wardrobe staple elevated with the ties just around the wrist. We have this sweater for only $85!
Wilfred is another in house brand at Aritzia. Wilfred is aesthetically inspired by the Parisian woman, which is seen in its feminine and classy silhouettes. Wear Wilfred and you are sure to make a statement!
Founded in the chill winters of Montreal by Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan in 1999, Mackage have since managed to change the outerwear industry. From the beginning their mission was to elevate outerwear with a unique balance between fashion and function.
Hopefully Canada can continue to break into the highly-competitive fashion industry. Canada definitely does not have a shortage of talent, passion or artistry, we are proud to be a Vancouver based fashion company. Mine & Yours was actually Vancouver's premier curated luxury resale and consignment shop and we hope to keep building communities in different cities across Canada!
]]>We had to do a second round up of our favourites looks you've tagged us in because we love celebrating you. If you'd like to be featured in our next Styled By Our Community Roundup tag us on Instagram using @mineandyoursco and #mymineandyours
As Vancouver's premier designer consignment boutique our selection of high-end luxury resale pieces are never ending. We get new arrivals in three times a week, keeping us the number one place in Vancouver to buy fabulous sale designer pieces.
Bethany Gillat purchased this Louis Vuitton bag from us and we've loved seeing how she's styled it over the past year. This summer look is one of our favourites, a pink floral summer dress, paired with a light cardigan and of course her Louis Vuitton Monogram Bag. Arguably, the best part about Louis Vuitton monogram bags are that they look better over time and hold their resale value well. So don't fret if your bag has has a little bit of wear on the leather. Shop our Louis Vuitton monogram collection here.
Vinisha bought these stunning Miu Miu sunglasses from us for only $125, the original retail is $450! Designer sunglasses are a fantastic way to begin buying luxury pieces because we price them relatively low in comparison to a designer bag. So if you're looking to introduce high-end designer items into your closet, we suggest taking a peek at our sunglasses or accessories collection!
A question often asked in the fashion industry is 'how to look put together quickly.' We believe that a good pair of denim jeans, a basic white top and a statement bag belong in everyone's wardrobe! This Prada Glitter Hobo Bag is the perfect statement bag because it's a neutral colour, but the glitter really makes it pop a basic outfit!

Living luxuriously for less is our mantra at Mine & Yours and with all these new items on sale you can live luxuriously for less-er? Even more less? Well, you get the idea! Our owner Courtney wanted to share her favourite markdown pieces with you, so take a look below to get inspired!

What is not to love? The perfect bag to carry everything you need and some things you don’t. Mini bags might be the trend right now, but sometimes I need to put a thousand things in my purse! We just marked down this bag by over $500 - the new price is $2,395!
My definition of the perfect summer bag. Pack it with your small beach blanket, bikini, a cool beverage and you're set! We've just marked it down $100, that means you can own a Prada bag for only $450!
The fashion industry is home to an abundance of gifted black designers. Despite their skill level and talent, many have not been given the spotlight they deserve. At Mine & Yours we are making a long-term commitment to raising awareness around these designers and brands, showcasing their work, stories and accolades. We have also further diversified the list of brands we carry, including all of the POC designers featured below. As a luxury consignment boutique in Vancouver, this is our promise to continue recognizing and supporting more Black Designers and Black owned businesses.
Grace Wales Bonner is a British fashion designer who uses her collections as a direct response to notions of race and gender. Her London-based label Wales Bonner was created in 2014 and two years later she won the highly-coveted LVMH prize that honours young fashion designers around the globe. You can see the meticulous blend of African and European heritage in her designs. At Mine & Yours we've carried a number of Wales Bonner pieces, but they're never in store long - our customer base loves the delicate silhouettes balanced with impeccable tailoring.
Carly Cushnie, the CEO and creative director of her namesake, New York based, label. Cushnie is well-known for sleek evening wear and separates. A red carpet favourite amongst the likes of Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez and Ashley Graham. Cushnie originally founded the brand with fellow Parsons' graduate Michelle Ochs. You may remember the brand as 'Cushnie et Ochs', Carly Cushnie took over when her partner left to pursue other endeavors.
Christopher John Rogers is taking on the fashion industry by storm, winning the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Award last year and launching his spring collection on Net-a-Porter a couple of months ago. His couture designs feature bright colours and unique voluminous silhouettes, a true celebration of fashion. Rogers has made a massive impact in the world of fashion in such a short amount of time, he's left the entire industry wondering what he will come up with next. We are thrilled to add Christopher John Rogers to our list of brands that we carry at Mine & Yours, if you have a piece from a collection you'd like to sell or consign to us email a photo to sell@mineandyours.com
Grenada-born designer Felisha Noel held her debut show for 'Fe Noel' at New York Fashion Week 2020. Although it was her debut, her designs have already been worn by influential women like Beyonce and Michelle Obama. Noel's designs always pay direct homage to her ancestral roots by using bright colours, vibrant prints and sheer fabrics. Noel now resides in Brooklyn, New York, but her coordinate sets and romantic silk dresses have us dreaming of visiting the beautiful Caribbean islands.
Stella Jean is recognized globally as Italy's first Black designer. Born to an Italian father and Haitian mother, Jean has managed to marry both sides of her heritage in her designs, weaving her culture carefully into each piece. Stella Jean's ability to use bright patterns and geometric prints gained attention quickly from powerhouse brands like Armani, Louboutin and popular celebrities, Rihanna and Zendaya.
Kerby Jean-Raymond launched his brand Pyer Moss in 2013. Through his collections he uses activism, debate, theatre and social commentary and has described his brand as "an art project or a timely social experiment." His designs have covered numerous important topics including; the unfrequented story of the black cowboys from the 19th century, the common black family experience and Sister Rosetta Tharpe - the Black woman who invented Rock 'N' Roll. His collections are diverse, featuring pastel coloured blazers, cropped hoodies and the undeniably beautiful flowing maxi dresses.
Virgil Abloh's, Off-White has become one of the most popular young brands of the past decade. The brand is known for their original streetwear style and celebrity listed roster of 'seen on.' Off-White has been worn by some of the most influential celebrities of our time, the Hadid sisters, the Kardashian sisters and Hailey Beiber. Their belts, bags and jackets are instantly recognized by millions. This brand is one of our best-sellers at Mine & Yours, each Off-White piece is highly coveted and we offer it for up to 80% off the original retail price!
Keep sharing education resources, keep supporting Black owned businesses, keep finding ways to be an ally, keep striving for equality. We stand behind the Black Lives Matter movement and as a team we will continue to educate ourselves on the best ways to support.

“I will abandon the worn-out ritual of seasonalities and shows to regain a new cadence, closer to my expressive call - we will meet just twice a year, to share the chapters of a new story." Michele said virtually but, with pronounced elegance through a Diary excerpt on Gucci's Instagram page, titled "Notes from the Silence."
It brings a sense of overwhelming peace to imagine Michele writing out these thoughtfully curated words during quarantine, in the heart of Italy. Carefully and creatively expressing each thought at his apartment in Rome. A modern day poet, passionate about rewriting what our future holds.
The announcement of Gucci leaving the historical fashion calendar behind, took the industry by storm. Suddenly, fashion lovers around the world were connected again - brought together by Alessandro Michele and a passion for change. A virtual press conference was held on Monday, May 25th with a select number of journalists, all eager to learn more about what will happen to the 16 Billion dollar brand.
“Our reckless actions have burned the house we live in. We conceived of ourselves as separated from nature, we felt cunning and almighty… So much haughtiness made us lose our sisterhood with the butterflies, the flowers, the trees and the roots. So much outrageous greed made us lose the harmony and the care, the connection and the belonging.”
Michele also took time to reflect on the fashion industry's issues with consumption, production and the negative impact it has had on the environment. Producing mass amounts of garments has lead the fashion industry to become the second largest polluting cause in the world. One of the most damaging environmental impacts associated directly with fashion is the amount of waste that ends up in land fills annually. Although it is unclear if other luxury high end brands will follow in Gucci, Dries Van Noten and Yves Saint Laurent's footsteps in slowing down collections and runway shows, it's evident the fashion world is on the brink of change.
Not confining to the ancient fashion calendar doesn't mean that Gucci won't find a way to celebrate their relentless creativity and imagination. Their last Cruise show was set to present in San Francisco, but will now be offered digitally. The show appropriately titled, Epilogue is set to showcase on July 17th - the last day of Milan's swiftly assembled Digital Fashion Week. Epilogue will be a runway show directly correlated to the end of a best-selling book, but this is only the beginning for Gucci and Alessandro Michele.

Jessica, a local Vancouver fashion blogger bought her first ever Chanel bag from Mine & Yours. Secondhand Chanel is a fabulous way to find your dream designer bag for a fraction of the original retail price. Jessica styled this beige double flap Chanel bag with a Canadian tuxedo (denim on denim.) We're a luxury resale and consignment boutique based in Vancouver, Canada so of course we LOVE a look that pays homage to our Canadian heritage and love of denim.
Denim jackets are an incredibly versatile piece that belongs in your wardrobe, if it's not there already! Pair it with some jeans and a designer bag for Spring, throw it on over a floral dress for Summer or accessorize it with a thick wool scarf for Autumn!
Our gorgeous customer Julian has mastered the art of flawless vacation outfits. We love the ease and simplicity of wearing white linen and always looking put together. Easily dressed up with sandal wedges or dressed down with a crop top and sandals (or better yet, barefoot in the sand!)

The Chanel Vintage Belt Bag has been worn by celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. The Chanel belt bag is a fabulous first designer bag purchase because of how versatile and timeless it is. In the photos above we can see Emma wearing the belt bag strap as an over the shoulder bag with a flowy summer dress and wide brimmed straw hat. A more obvious way to wear this vintage Chanel bag would be as a waist belt over a maxi dress or a belt over your favourite denim shorts. The Chanel Vintage Belt Bag is on sale for $2,250, the original retail price is $4,500!
Our number one tip for a quick "look put together" even though you have five minutes to get ready is an oversized designer button up dress shirt and a pair of loafers! Imagine you stole your boyfriends’ expensive dress shirt and kept it because, let’s be honest, it looks way better on you. We are currently obsessed with this Tenax dress shirt, a beautifully pleated button up with a unique detailed hem.
Feminine, floral dresses are perfect for a social distanced beach date or patio drinks with your girlfriends. Take a look at some of the most rare pieces we have in right now. Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Burberry straight from the runways of Paris, New York and Milan could be yours!
CHANEL 2017 PARIS-COSMOPOLITE FANTASY TWEED JACKET
“Cosmopolitan elegance and people from all over the world who’ve come to the Ritz. There were hundreds of dinners in the ’20s and ’30s, where women wore incredible things." This was Karl Lagerfeld’s inspiration behind the Chanel Pre Fall 2017 "Paris Cosmopolite" collection. The Ritz has sentimental meaning to the brand, Coco Chanel famously lived at the Ritz from 1937 throughout World War II, and passed away there in 1971. A collection ultimately inspired by those who would dress up for lunches at The Ritz in the 1920's and 30's, the Fantasy tweed jacket is perfect for modern day brunch dates. The original price of this coat is $9,900 and it's available on our online shop for $2,950 CAD.
BURBERRY YELLOW SUEDE DÉGRADÉ TRENCH COAT
This bright, statement trench coat is from Burberry's impressive Spring Summer 2015 collection, shaped by label’s CEO Christopher Bailey. The collection named "The Birds And The Bees" showcased in London was brought to life by bright colours and fun oversized prints. This statement coat is a fabulous blend of a Burberry timeless piece with a modern and fun twist.
CHANEL BLACK TWEED JUMPSUIT WITH RUCHING
Back in 2011, Karl Lagerfeld pulled off a controversial 'grunge' Chanel show, two concepts many never thought would accompany each other on the runway. The Chanel Fall 2011 collection blended the sophistication of Chanel tailoring with dark colours and more masculine silhouettes. We applaud Lagerfeld for his ability to add modern approaches to a brand some think to be too 'prim.' (Not us, the team at Mine & Yours lives for pink Chanel tweed.) This relaxed jumpsuit was look #66, both equal parts chic and edgy. The original retail price was $2,500 and it's on sale at Mine & Yours for only $750!
CHRISTIAN DIOR J'ADIOR WHITE CROSSBODY FLAP BAG
The Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2017 debuted Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first collection for the Parisian brand. Chiuri is Dior's first ever female creative director and she did not disappoint. This season’s handbags payed homage to Christian Dior's fascination with using the famous phrase - "J'adior." This bag was a limited edition piece, making it even more valuable years later!
Designer resale or consignment is similar to a treasure hunt, the luxury pieces you find can be extremely rare and special. Mine & Yours always has a selection of vintage and newer designer items! With high-end brands like Chanel, Dior, Burberry and Louis Vuitton, resale is a fantastic route to go in terms of affordability. Live luxuriously for less with us and never pay full retail price for luxury items!

We encourage you to do the same! Write your mom an extra long text telling her why you love her, share an old favourite photo of the two of you together and if your mom is an avid Facebook user, tag her in a thoughtfully written post!
We hope you enjoy this lighthearted letter to our mothers. Through this team campaign it's clear that all of our moms are exceptional in their own way and all have wildly different styles. Nothing beats a true vintage mom outfit in our eyes and most of us still raid our mother's closet!
Courtney's Mom, Laurie
My start in fashion was dressing up in my moms closet and to this day I am still borrowing her clothes. Especially for living out in Maple Ridge, this woman definitely had style. She’s adventurous with what she wears from her biker babe days to leopard or loud prints and the fabulous Gucci head scarves she wears. While my brother and dad went off to hockey camps, my mom and I went on shopping trips to West Edmonton Mall or Seattle. It's really no wonder why I started a store, my mom formed this exciting yet, expensive hobby of mine quite young! I'm so grateful to have her as a mom, we can spend weeks together travelling, she’s an incredible cook, supports me on all my crazy decisions with a bit of motherly caution and is just one of the best people to be around.
Ginny's Mom, Pauline
This photo was taken in 1980, she was working for The Dominion Post as a cadet reporter for the newspaper in Wellington, New Zealand where we lived. My mum is hilarious, I don't think she even knows how funny she is. She is strong and resilient. She is loyal to her friends. She is an excellent gardener. She is a great seamstress - she made my prom dress! I miss seeing her everyday. My mums style is casual chic, always paired with a great handbag.
Krystina's Mom, Maricar
My mom is the most resilient and selfless woman on earth! She moved here from the Philippines by herself when she was young, went back to college while raising three kids at home and graduated at the top of her class. My mom has always taught me the importance of taking care of the pieces in my closet - which I’ve grown to appreciate more in regards to sustainability. She keeps her clothes in impeccable condition for years! Her style is the perfect blend of timeless pieces and fun prints or colours! Whenever I visit her I love raiding her closet - and mom if you’re reading this can I please have the gold hoops from your jewelry box?
Parinaz's Mom, Parissa
She's the most giving and caring person I've ever met and I am always thankful for her endless and unconditional love and support. She likes pieces that are timeless and stylish at the same time. Everyone knows that half of the clothing I own were my mom's so that definitely explains it all!
Sabrina's Mom, Anne
When I look at the person who I am today, I recognize that it is all thanks to my mom. She is the most caring, compassionate, nurturing, and strong woman. She has taught me the importance of selflessness and what it means to lend a helping hand. My mother’s style definitely reflects her personality: wild and unpredictable. Her go to day time look is definitely something printed and colourful. For a night time OOTD, she loves her LBD’s!
Megan's Mom, Rhodelia
As long as I can remember, my mom has always been so supportive of me and my siblings. She's always been so hardworking, headstrong and so dedicated to our family. She's my biggest cheerleader and always encourages me to work hard. I want to honour my mama for all she does and all that she is! My mom's style usually prioritizes comfort over everything, but she loves accessorizing - especially with her Louis bags!
Kaeli's Mom, Teryl
She is the queen of all things cooking and canning, and crafting. Back in Ontario, she runs a cute little Farmers Market in cottage county. In her free time she is an avid crossbow hunter and loves to go for long hikes in the woods. Her style is usually “Camouflage Chic” but she lets me play stylist and find her trendy pieces. She’s a big fan of denim and always accessorizes with family heirlooms.

Recently, Paige came into our Luxury Resale Boutique (Mine + Yours) for some designer pieces for her LA Trip. All of the pieces that Paige pulled for her trip are still available online from us. All of the items are from 40-80% off the original retail price!
Chanel Tweed Sneaker, Size 37: $450
"I love a good pantsuit, but with a splash of colour! I have tried to ditch the basic all black look (unless I'm pairing it with straight sleek hair and red lip). I also found 'work clothing' to be unflattering and uncomfortable, so I try my best to dress for my body's curves - high waisted always." - Paige Sandher
We are obsessing over how Paige paired her iconic pink pantsuit with our classic Chanel Boy Bag and our unique Tweed Chanel sneakers. After all, Chanel really does complete an outfit.
Baleniaga Purple Cardigan, Size Medium: $850
Paige Sandher isn't the first business mogul to reach for this Balenciaga monogram cardigan! Khloe Kardashian (yes THE Khloe Kardashian) wore this purple cardigan for her sister's launch of the Stormi collection for Kylie Cosmetics. We are so happy that Paige is not afraid to wear colour, because this shade of lilac is gorgeous on her. The joys of luxury resale is you can find special pieces like this cardigan, that are no longer sold in stores (plus a cheaper price doesn't hurt!)
A go-to coffee date outfit is essential to a woman's wardrobe. That one outfit you feel confident in and can pull out when someone asks to meet you in a cafe super last minute! This Chanel Tennis T shirt says "I'm casual but, still put together and FIERCE." Paige's drink of choice is a Whiskey Sour, so if you're looking to book her for a meeting keep that in mind and maybe stop at a restaurant after the cafe!

The birth of this brand could be adapted into a Hollywood movie. Judith Richardson met Charles Le Pierrès during an unexpected encounter while on vacation on a Caribbean island. The eponymous brand was originally named Teenflo and was bought by the couple in 1990. For years, this well-tailored brand has influenced women with its attention to detail and easy sophistication.
As Canadians, too often, we are forced to prioritize warmth over style. Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan saw the lack of fashionable jackets on the market and founded Mackage. Since 1999, they have succeeded in balancing fashion and function in luxury outerwear. Beginning with Eran’s involvement in the leather industry, Mackage went from solely producing leather jackets to now exploring down and wool.
Founded in Vancouver in 1984 by Brian Hill, the Artizia brands have become a staple in every PNW woman’s closet. Over the years, the brand has remained true to their mission: designing beautiful clothes and selling with amazing service. Rapidly expanding into the United States, Aritzia is no longer just a PNW sensation, but a brand that can be recognized by all. Yes, all, including Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and of course, Megan Markle have all been spotted wearing the Aritizia brands!
Made to withstand the coldest climates on Earth, a Canada Goose jacket is a great item to add to your closet while living in Canada. Founded almost sixty years ago in Toronto, Sam Tick and David Reiss led the world in luxury outerwear. With its innovative technologies, Laurie Skreslet summited Mt. Everest sporting a custom parka which became the iconic “Big Mountain” jacket. Canada Goose jackets even graced the screens of cinema in the films: The Day After Tomorrow and National Treasure.
Launched in 2004 with the priority of being modern and filled with emotions, Smythe has a strong focus on blazers and jackets. With their cool ideas in design, co-founders Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe changed people’s stereotypes of what a feminine structured blazer or jacket not only should be, but could be, with their resourceful impressions injected.
In 2020, we are promoting the buy, wear, and resale mindset rather than buy, wear, and discard! All of these brands can be found at our store or online.

The entire fashion industry was caught up in the same thought, how could Simon Porte Jacquemus possibly top their show held in a lavender field in Provence last Summer? The social media success of that runway show brought the luxury designer brand over 1.8 million Instagram followers! Jacquemus presented his co-ed Winter 2020/21 runway collection last week during Men's Fashion Week in Paris. The show exploded on social media shortly after, Instagram stories were filled with clips and photos of the show describing it as a true work of art. The collection was unlike Jacquemus' previous shows, which have been praised for their extravagant sets and bold designs (who could ever forget the fuschia runway?) This collection paid homage to his southern roots, celebrating simplicity, nudes, linen and just overall beautiful clothing for the people.
Watch the Jacquemus 2020/21 Runway Show Here
Naming this collection "Année 97" the french designer gave some insight into where his love for fashion design was born. - “I was 7 the day I cut a skirt for my mum out of a linen curtain. Here is the collection L’année 97,” the designer wrote in an Instagram caption. L’année 97, directly translates to The Year '97, the year of Jacquemus’ beginnings and the simplicity of his first ever designs. We love when a designer brings authenticity and personal touches to their collections.
The women waltzed down the runway in fuzzy bloomers; simplistic yet sexy dresses and over the knee boots. You've probably seen the photo of the famous Hadid sisters strutting their stuff in this collection, completely au-naturale and in matching linen dresses. The men’s looks included everything from ombre denim to linen puffer coats, all in light colours and airy fabrics.
If you are familiar with Jacquemus, it's probably in regards to their iconic mini handbags. This season, the designer introduced a number of dreamy new bag silhouettes, from regular sized totes to wicker versions of his illustrious Le Chiquito mini bags (we hope the mini-bag trend never, ever dies!) Cross bodies, belt bags, and harness-style bags were also featured on both men and women.
Jacquemus Shirt Dress: $275 CAD
At Mine and Yours we believe in bringing sustainable options back into the fashion industry. The new Jacquemus collection introduced a sustainability aspect, that we are super excited for. After ten years of working with one fabric manufacturer, Jacquemus finally decided to push them to create a sustainable fabric for his designs. “They didn’t have a sustainable fabric that we wanted. Now, they do — because of the size of the order I can make,” he told Vogue. “It isn’t just for ecologie, it’s also people — their rhythm of work also has to have sense. I don’t say I’m a green brand or anything like that; it’s not marketing. But I think we have to think more like my grandparents did: like, we have tomatoes in the garden, so we eat tomatoes.”
Jacquemus Winter 2020/21 Runway Show
“I think we have to get back to something more pure and minimal, and I’m making clothes that will last.” Pieces that can go beyond the glam of the runway and pieces that you'll have forever. That’s a part of the Jacquemus message that deserves to be heard, understood and respected.

1. FLAT SHOES
Could practical and comfortable shoes finally be taking centre stage in the world of fashion? Step aside heels, it's time to let flats have their moment! Chanel was one of the many Luxury designers showcasing flats on the runway, but we're obsessing over these nude Valentino Rockstuds!
We believe nothing beats a timeless Trench Coat, it's a piece that you'll wear every season. However, statement trench coat's are so fabulous and a great alternative to the popular khaki styles. This Burberry coat could be straight from the runway and into your closet!
We are truly ecstatic that high-end luxury designers are starting to use more sustainable materials. Raffia can be used to make everything from hats to skirts and was showcased multiple times down the Dior runway. Louis Vuitton made the durable soles of these sneakers from Raffia!

]]>What do you do with your closet items that you fall out of love with? The answer should be, bringing them to Mine & Yours (Luxury Resale Boutique) and exchanging them for store credit. That's exactly what local Vancouver fashion influencer, Jessica Luxe did and three years later, she had saved up enough credit for A VINTAGE CHANEL BAG!
How I Paid $0 For My First Chanel Video - Jessica Luxe
If you're a fellow fashion lover, you know the value of a Chanel item. To get technical, studies have found that a Chanel bag is a better investment than a house, reselling up to 70% per year. Proving to be a much better resale value than most other investments. So you can tell this information to anyone questioning you when you're telling them you are saving up for a Chanel!
Now back to Jessica's incredible story. For most girls, a classic Chanel bag can seem like an impossible dream. After all, the prices of these bags can run you over $5,000. We love how Jessica told her unique purchasing journey, because most consumers don't realize that saving up store credit for a Chanel is even possible!
By bringing in your pre-loved, clothing, shoes and accessories you are accomplishing two things at once! You are helping slow down fast fashion by choosing to give your clothes a second life instead of a trip to the landfill. You're also receiving store credit to purchase that item you've always dreamed of having! The store credit buy-out option is incredible because it's like a savings account that you can't touch! Jessica mentioned she felt that her store credit was "out of sight, out of mind" which allowed her to save and not spend!
Much like Jessica, at Mine & Yours we also believe in QUALITY over quantity. So whether you're saving up for a classic vintage Chanel bag, dior saddle bag or whatever designer piece you're dreaming of - we can help you! Our buying days are: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We can't wait to see you and get you some store-credit towards something fabulous!

Fans of Old Celine will stop at nothing to get their hands on Phoebe Philo's iconic designs. Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley recently reached out to her 9 million Instagram followers to help her hunt down a statement coat that sold out from the Fall 2017 collection!
Rosie Huntington-Whitely wearing the Old Celine Coat (Fall 2017 Collection)
Sydney-based stylist Gabriel Waller was the only person able to track down this now famous Old Celine treasure for Rosie. We love celebrating the hard work that fashion stylists do to help their clients find exactly what they're looking for, especially when it's not an easy feat.
“I live and breathe what I do, to wake up this morning to see Rosie not only wearing the coat but for it to be posted on both her Instagram page and story is life changing. I pour sweat and tears into working around the clock on multiple time zones to connect with contacts worldwide, to see that post has made every single moment worth it,” Waller told marie claire

The Old Celine statement coat has been worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hailey Bieber, our owner Courtney and now it could be yours! Mine + Yours is selling this luxury, designer piece at a resale price of $2,500. We didn't need another reason to love this coat more but, it has "Sticky Toffee Pudding" and "Macaroons" written on it. Which speaks straight to the heart of all dessert lovers everywhere!
