Find your Festival Style!

Hey fashion lovers,

I'm here today to talk about festival fashion. We've all seen the millions of pics of Vanessa Hudgens, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid at Coachella and Bonoroo. They always look so cool, effortless and maybe even comfortable!?

For some, this steeze comes naturally. For others, it takes weeks -maybe months-of careful planning and anticipating. Whatever side of the fence you stand on, this guide will help you plan your outfits for whatever festival weekend you choose so you can focus on the important things. Like how to make the perfect flower crown and where to get that coloured powder!

We've broken this guide into the 4 style types that we have seen frequently see at festivals- the Cool Girl, The Off-Duty Model, The Romantic and The Boho Babe. See what suits you best and get styling!

1. The Cool Girl

Came to see: The Strokes and Jack White

Can't live without: A good pair of denim cutoffs

How to pull of this look: The cool girl is so cool because her style is so easy it almost seems like she doesn't care. But that's all part of the charm of being one of the Cool Girls. Pair your denim cutoffs with a designer tank and some classic sneakers, throw a hat on your unbrushed hair and some sunnies on your last-nights-makeup eyes! Insta-cool.

2. The Off Duty Model

Came to see: Lana Del Rey and Drake

Can't live without: That signature designer piece

How to pull of this look: Get a great easy designer knit dress- like this Carven Sahara print one- and let it do the talking. Top it off with some simple accessories; some good booties, flattering sunnies, and a backpack for hands-free partying, and you're set.

3. The Boho Babe

Came to see: Tame Impala and Florence and the Machine

Can't live without: A statement necklace

How to pull of this look: Find a flowy signature piece, or something with fringe and work with that. We used both those trends for this look with the Dries van Noten sheer peasant dress and Christopher Kon fringe bag. Add a pair of leather flats and some vintage sunnies and you'll be swaying in the sun in no time!

4. The Romantic

Came to see: Bon Iver and Alt J

Can't live without: Loose layers- the perfect boho wardrobe staple

How to pull of this look: Where romance meets biker chick is where this genre of festival dressing really shines. Don't be afraid to pair your sheer romantic styles with leather and studs. Search for an amazing boot or an amazing dress and build your outfit around that one piece. Remember to keep it flowy but also grounded with some edgier pieces. Embrace your inner Kendall!

The most important thing to remember when packing for your festival adventure is to be yourself! The last thing you want is to wake up on day 2 with nothing that feels like you- and an uncomfortable 'costume' for the day ahead. Embrace what makes you you, and bring some comfortable options that make you feel good!

See you on the grounds, baes!
