Paris Fashion Week Roundup

We can't believe that fashion week is over! The staff at Mine & Yours are going to share with you the moments and highlights of Paris fashion week, I mean Paris can't be without any drama!

Chanel Show

It left all of us in wow. Chanel always has a way of surprising fashion fans all over the world! There were six waterfalls surrounding the runway, and according to New York Times it took two months to construct the place!

Models wearing vinyl rainwear as well as pieces that looked like they are going to leave the Earth after the show! Amazing!

Saint Laurent Show

Obviously you can judge a brand's power by its choice of place for a fashion show, and Saint Laurent was a case in point!

This show opened up Paris fashion week in the most Parisian and glamorous place, at the foot of Eiffel Tower.

The show started with leather dresses, then into silk, sequin, and velvet. Mostly black and dark colours, and then came the glitter to match the Eiffel Tower I guess! Also, the one thing all these pieces had in common, was the statement and huge sleeves! We loved each and one of the pieces!

Valentino Show

Chanel and Saint Laurent had their locations on point. But who was our favourite during this week?

Pierpaolo Piccioli did a great job with his beautiful and feminine designs! He admitted that "he wanted to get back at 80's that Mr.Valentino did so well!"

We saw some princesses on the runway that sequins, embroidery, and flowers kept them young, fun, and outstanding.

Versace Show

We watched the Versace show online and what we all got was goosebumps!

By bringing five supermodels form 80's-90's, playing George Michael's 'Freedom' song, and the collection inspired by archive pieces, Donatella Versace made this show so powerful and emotional at the same time.

The prints and pieces were pulled from the 90's Versace designs. All looks as always were hot, glamorous, playful and fun at the same time.
