Style Snaps Vol. 5 - Futuristic Fab

Last week we talked about taking risks, and simple ways to take that leap. Today we take that risk factor a step further. Dare to go chartreuse neoprene?

We worked with The Style Saver's Elizabeth again this week, and together we styled this outer worldly sartorial statement (click here to see past collabs). She loves streamlined designs, and this time we stuck with mostly Alexander Wang.

This Alexander Wang two-piece chartreuse set is neoprene, peplum and so unique (and unfortunately, sold out before we wrote this post)! As soon as Elizabeth tried it on, we knew immediately we had to shoot it. Everything else collected around the two piece, and created this alien, outer-space vibe that was so fun to work with!

The coat (it is January) we styled with the chartreuse 2 piece gem is a wool Mackage pea-coat with leather detailing (Size XS, $275). The semi gloss of the leather subtly contrasts with the matte black of the wool, and adds just enough detail to keep things interesting without taking away from the main feature underneath.

For a clutch, we chose this iridescent envelope by BCBG ($40). It is the perfect balance of functional, chic and futuristic. We also added this House of Harlow Chrysalis ring ($65), with it's open style and large raw looking stones, it topped the look off just right.

We finished off the look with these Fendi pumps that look so futuristic, they were practically screaming at us from the shelf. With their ballooned platform, and sky-high stiletto heels, I don't think we could have found a better pump if we tried. (Size 39, $175, online here)

So there you have it. Feel like dressing for 2115? Go ahead! Don't let your century stop you!

Cheers!
