In 1937, Roger Vivier opened his first boutique in Paris. He specialized in heels - the iconic Aiguille stiletto and Virgule heel became recognizable with the Roger Vivier brand. Vivier was an artisan with a passion for elegance, and it showed in his work. His shoes were not only wearable, but they were works of art, attracting many to the brand. He designed shoes for the biggest personalities of his time: Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, the Duchess of Windsor, and many more. Today, Gherardo Felloni is the Creative Director, and under his leadership, Roger Vivier continues to produce visionary designs.
