Shreya Khanna
Shreya is the Fashion Producer for ET Canada, and her fits have been seen on national television and at award shows all over the country. Today we ask her about interviewing her style icon Julia Fox, "couture" Zellers, and her curated on-air style.

As a fashion producer for ET Canada, how has your career developed your relationship to fashion?
I spend most of my days researching and reporting on fashion trends. Because of that, my relationship with fashion is much more playful, than practical. I’m all about trying something new, and finding fun ways to incorporate seasonal fashion trends into my everyday looks. Since I do on-air segments & fashion commentary as well, I like to incorporate what I’m reporting on, into my looks. I’ll try *pretty much* anything.

What are some of your favourite pieces in your wardrobe and why?
My favourite pieces in my wardrobe are my oversized blazers, because they are the quickest way to elevate an outfit. I always try to make one element of my outfit unique – so I also love any sunglasses I have that are a bit out of the ordinary because it’s an easy way to achieve that.

How do you incorporate sustainability into your style choices?
My love for fashion stems from building a look, not just purchasing clothing. Whether that’s working with what I have in my closet or vintage shopping, finding creative ways to keep my style sustainable is actually the fun part.
What are you currently on the hunt for to add to your fashion arsenal?
Denim Maxi Skirt! And a low-rise jean that doesn’t give me anxiety.
We came from humble beginnings, but my I loved finding ways to build a unique look from what I had in my closet. I really looked forward to family events or school picture day where I could try something different (ex. I rocked a pink blazer from Zellers to my Grade 5 picture day and thought it was couture).
