Chic Halloween Costumes
Halloween is one of the most fun holidays, and there's nothing quite like having an amazing costume and the compliments and photos that follow. But we've all been that person where there's less than two weeks to go and you still don't have that perfect costume. The options at this point are to either shell out way too much on a badly made and way overpriced costume from a costume shop, completely give up and vow to not leave your house on Halloween, or else half-ass it and let yourself stress out over it.

1. Hermione Granger
Hermione is the driving force behind the Geek Chic movement and is one of the most iconic heroines of modern literature. To get this look we've paired this Black Label Skirt (Sz Small) with this Prada Blouse (Sz 42), Burberry Sweater (Sz L) and Chanel Flats (Sz 38). 2. Wednesday Addams
Ahh, the Addams family. One of the weirdest families on tv, and yet so endearing and lovely. Embrace your inner angsty teenager with this Wednesday Addams inspired costume. Zara collared dress (Sz S) and 3.1 Phillip Lim wedge loafers (sz 36.5), just add 2 braids and a centre part and you're good to go!
3. Margot Tenenbaum
Nobody does quirky cool like Wes Anderson, and Margot Tenenbaum is one of his most legendary characters. Designers around the world have been inspired by her easy style, and she's niche enough that the costume will do the double-duty of making you feel cool while also picking out all the people at the party that are cool enough to actually get the costume you're going for. Add her signature red clip and you'll be raking in the compliments all night!
4. Mary Poppins
I think I speak for all of us when I say Mary Poppins made us want a new babysitter, like yesterday. She was the best of both worlds- responsible and childish, and dressed like a total lady to boot! Now all you need is a red bowtie to top off the look and maybe a spoonful of sugar!
5. Sandy Olsson from Grease
Sandy taught us that nobody can resist a red lip and some leather. She showed us the real power that dressing gives us, and even though she did it all for a boy, I never forgot the difference that an outfit change can make. Get this look by pairing a classic leather jacket (This Rick Owens kangaroo leather one is Sz 6) and some red sandal slides (these Chanel's are a Sz 38) and top it off with some leggings and a red lip and you are ready to turn heads!
